Wow What a Weekend!
We got to play with Texas star Roger Creager and his Band www.rogercreager.com in Oxford, MS at the DELTA KAPPA EPSILON of UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI. That band is a hoot and we hope to play music and drink a COLD beer with them again soon. I\'m gonna do my best to see that they get down to the Gulf Coast and do a show real soon!
We sure do appreciate the AOII sorority of Auburn Univ. for having us at Quixotes. We should have some video of both of these shows on wesloper.com soon!
See ya,
Peace,
Wes

I got to play with my good buddy Adam Perry this week in Jackson, MS at Fenien's Irish Pub. We had a great crowd of Old Strangers and New Friends.
I'm so glad that the Band met me in Baton Rouge, LA to play our first show at the Mellow Mushroom. The staff at the Mello Mush do a great job with all of the party going on around them. Cool folks! We had a fun show in Greenville, AL at the Front Street Pub. Alice had some myspace friends show up in droves. GO ALICE!
Our best time this weekend was in Birmingham with the Homewood Exeptional Foundation's 2nd annual Chili Cook Off! Tommy played Air Guitar the whole show and we had many more guests on stage to help spice up the show! We got a little rest befrore heading to the Redline in Hoover for the "Tank Tops and Flip Flops" Party. There's was Corona and Corozone Tequilla being cusumed in mass quantities!
I'm glad to back home with Renee to relax and celebrate our friend Mary's Birthday at the Beach House Grill while listening to the Rhythm and Rain Acoustic Duo.
Peace, Love, & Chicken Grease,
Wes

I SURVIVED! After a long Mardi Gras week, we rocked on through the weekend. A big Shout out to the Chi Omegas at Ole Miss. Their Tacky Gras Party at Nightown was a blast and you can see some of their costumes on the picture pages of wesloper.com. Our first night at Sky Bar in Auburn was great! Check out www.auskybar.com for the awesome picturesof that night. Marc Risik is on te edge of modern photography and I became an instant fan. Being a photo-grapher my self. Thanks to all who added us as myspace freinds from that night!

Wow! Riding on the LuLu's Mardi Gras float in Gulf Shores, AL was a Blast on Fat Tuesday! With Lucy leading and the Homeport Marina Crew in Tow we paraded down through strip to the beach and then Gulf Beach Hwy through Orange Beach! Renee got to hop in the LuLu's Chevy Truck through orange Beach So Lucy could join Homeport in the Boat parade down the Intracoastal Waterway. A few folks thought she was Lucy, and I heard a few people got sideways when they saw I wasn't Jimmy. Lesee Le Bon Temps Roulee! I've given up Parading for Lent! Back to the road tonight in Auburn at the Sky Bar. No time to rest this week.
